Finally, a Democrat who fights tax cuts with tax cuts.

Of course, it's John Edwards:

North Carolina Sen. John Edwards on Monday unveiled a new television ad highlighting the importance of tax relief to the middle class and Edward's plan to repeal President Bush's tax breaks for the wealthy.
"This president should be made to explain why a multimillionaire sitting beside his swimming pool should be paying a lower tax rate than a teacher, than a police officer, than a secretary," Edwards says in the ad.
Tax cuts targeted at the middle class help families buy homes, invest and save, he says.

Now, if only Dean were made to explain why a teacher, a police officer, or a secretary should have to give up the pittance they received from Bush tax cut, when wealthier taxpayers can and should.
